Founded in Autun in 1852, NEYRAT became one of France’s leading umbrella manufacturers. At its peak, the factory employed up to 400 people.
The company evolved, resumed manufacturing in Autun in 2014 and expanded its production capabilities in 2021 when GUY DE JEAN and PIERRE VAUX joined the Group.
Today, GROUPE NEYRAT combines French manufacturing, collection development, international sourcing and distribution across umbrellas, leather goods and fashion accessories.

The Établissements NEYRAT are founded in Autun.

Industrial expansion
Léon NEYRAT expands the factory and its production facilities.
1991
A new business model
The Autun workshop closes as the company transitions towards international sourcing.
2014
Manufacturing returns
A manufacturing workshop reopens in Autun.
2021
A new chapter
GUY DE JEAN and PIERRE VAUX join the Group. Saint-Claude becomes its main manufacturing site.
2025
A return to leather goods
With EMI ACCESSOIRES, NEYRAT returns to a business that was already part of its history.
